Abstract

|
The purpose of this study was to illustrate the effects on Art activity program with dynamic interaction to improve self-esteem and learning motivation for children with learning disability. Two fifth grade children with learning disability who are studying in the part time special class were participated for this study. The results of this study were that: (a) the Art activity program with dynamic interaction was effective to improve self-esteem for children with learning disability; (b) Art activity program with dynamic interaction was effective to improve learning motivation for children with learning disability; and (c) in the beginning level to apply the Art activity program the behaviors for the children with learning disability were no talk, no motivation, and no self-confidence. In the middle level of the program their behaviors changed to keep on self-confidence, and in the late level of the program, they expressed their thought and feeling, and their self-esteem. Therefore this study concluded that the Art activity program with dynamic interaction is effective to improve self-esteem and learning motivation for children with learning disability.
